THE JOURNEY STARTS
Drive for hours under the boundless blue sky without encountering a single car on the road, witness the oldest desert on our planet with your own eyes, observe rhinos and seals, study ancient rock art of the Bushmen – all of these experiences await in Namibia, one of the most beautiful and secure countries in Africa. Here, you can encounter the Big Five and Sossusvlei plateau hosts photography tours from around the world. They say that more than half of the tourists return here again and again, because you can explore Namibia endlessly.

1
Arrival in Windhoek
day
Upon arrival in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, depart on a 4x4 vehicle to the oldest desert on Earth, the Namib Desert. Our goal is Sossusvlei, a unique clay plateau within the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Stay overnight at a lodge, where we'll enjoy dinner under the African starry sky.

2
Dead Marsh and Ancient Canyon
day
After breakfast, head to the Dead Marsh Deadvlei, one of the main natural attractions in Namib-Naukluft. Twisted black petrified trunks of camel thorn trees rise from the dried-out lakebed, forming bizarre shapes against the backdrop of red dunes, creating an otherworldly landscape.

Next, visit the Sesriem Canyon, meaning "six belts" in Afrikaans. Local farmers had to tie six belts together to draw water from the bottom of the canyon when the Tsauchab River dried up. We will explore the most intriguing part of the canyon, the narrowest section with the highest walls.

3
Heading towards the Atlantic
day
From Mars to Europe: travel to Swakopmund, a resort town with distinctly European streets. German influence is felt everywhere: in the colonial architecture, street names, and even in the German language spoken by some locals.
Stroll through the city and conclude the day with a seafood dinner at a restaurant.

4
Seals, Flamingos,
and Beach Picnic
day
Embark on a sea cruise. Depart from Walvis Bay, Namibia's main port. Pass by an oyster farm, see the famous lighthouse at Pelican Point – operational for nearly a century – and encounter 60,000 seals that love to jump onto boats. Observe them with a glass of champagne in hand.

Reach Sandwich Harbour, where the desert meets the sea. Switch to jeeps and take a dune excursion. From the top, you'll have a fantastic view of the ocean, desert, and pink flamingos. Enjoy a beach picnic with a view of the Atlantic Ocean before returning to Swakopmund.

Travel to Damaraland, known for its mountains and rock art. Numerous geological formations here are hundreds of millions of years old, including the Spitzkoppe mountain range, a group of bare granite peaks rising abruptly 700 meters above the Namib Desert.

Explore the surroundings, examine rock paintings, reach the popular arch known as "The Rock Bridge," and capture memorable sunset photos. Dine with panoramic views of the cliffs.

Mountain Peaks and Desert Night
day
5
First stop: Twyfelfontein National Park, renowned for its impressive archaeological sites. It houses one of the world's largest collections of Bushmen art, featuring over 2,000 engravings on stone that are around 6,000 years old. This unique site offers insight into Namibia's rich history and the San tribe, whom we will also meet this day.

Additionally, visit Burnt Mountain, resembling a massive scorched piece of land from a distance, and Organ Pipes – unusual geological formations millions of years old that resemble church organ pipes.

Himba People and Arrival in Etosha Park
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of authentic Africa: our destination is Etosha Park on the northwestern edge of the Kalahari Desert. On the way, visit a Bushmen village to learn about their life, customs, and culture. Within the park, interact with the Himba people, the last nomadic tribe in Namibia.

In Etosha, observe animals in their natural habitat. The Etosha National Park is home to four of the Big Five: elephants, lions, leopards, and rhinos.

Overnight at a lodge near the park entrance.
