Day 1

Welcome to Namibia

Your journey begins with arrival in Windhoek, Namibia’s sunny and welcoming capital. At the airport, you’ll be met by your Russian-speaking guide, who will accompany you throughout the trip.

You’ll then transfer to a boutique hotel overlooking rolling hills and vineyards. The evening is yours to relax after the flight, enjoy dinner, and ease into the rhythm of the journey ahead.

Day 2

Deadvlei & Sesriem Canyon

After breakfast, you’ll set out for Sossusvlei, one of Namibia’s most iconic landscapes. Along the way, stop in Solitaire for coffee and its famous apple strudel.

As you travel deeper into the desert, the scenery becomes increasingly surreal — rose-colored dunes, dry riverbeds, and scattered trees. By evening, you’ll arrive at a secluded lodge.

After dinner, take a walk under the star-filled sky in search of glowing scorpions and experience your first glimpse of the desert’s nocturnal life.

Day 3

Sand Giants & the Dead Forest

At dawn, you’ll enter Namib-Naukluft National Park to watch the rising sun set the dunes of Sossusvlei ablaze in deep, fiery tones. From the top, endless waves of الرمال stretch to the horizon.

Next, walk through Deadvlei, where ancient, dried trees stand against towering red dunes, creating an almost otherworldly landscape.

Afterwards, continue to Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast, where the desert gives way to ocean breezes and the charm of a seaside town with a European feel.

Day 4

Seals & Flamingos

In the morning, you’ll head to the port of Walvis Bay, where your catamaran cruise begins. Curious seals swim right up to the boat, pelicans glide overhead — and the journey feels like a living spectacle of the ocean.

Afterwards, continue to Sandwich Harbour, where towering dunes descend dramatically into the sea. In a 4×4, you’ll ride along the ridgelines and down to the shoreline itself, where desert and ocean meet.

Day 5

Into the Damaraland Base Camp

Today marks the beginning of the expedition phase of your journey. Leaving Swakopmund behind, you’ll travel into Damaraland, arriving at a remote base camp set on open platforms overlooking the valley.

In the evening, you’ll meet your guides for a briefing and introduction to the route — as well as to the desert-adapted elephants you’ll be tracking. You’ll join a conservation team working in the field, contributing to real data collection and protection efforts.

Dinner is served around the fire, and the night is spent under open skies in your tent, surrounded by the silence of the desert.

Day 6

Tracking the Giants

After a light breakfast, you’ll set out by 4×4 to the area where elephants were last spotted. From here, your walking safari begins — following dry riverbeds and rocky slopes as you learn to read tracks and recognize the subtle signs of a herd’s presence. The vehicles will follow at a distance to ensure safety.

By evening, you’ll set up camp in a remote, secluded location. Dinner around the fire and conversations about elephant behavior and fieldwork bring the day to a close.

Day 7

A Day in the Field

Your second day unfolds fully in the wild. Continuing to track the animals, you’ll help record data on herd size, age, and behavior — observations that contribute directly to conservation efforts.

Along the way, you may encounter zebras, springboks, jackals, and a variety of birdlife. By evening, you’ll set up camp in a scenic location and gather around the fire for dinner under the open sky.

Day 8

Final Day in the Wild

Your last day in the desert is a time to reflect and bring the experience full circle. You’ll complete your observations, review the data collected, and set out on one more tracking walk — now with a deeper understanding of the landscape and its rhythms.

In the afternoon, return to base camp. A warm shower, a shared dinner, and a final evening under the open sky bring this chapter of the journey to a close.

Day 9

Return to the Capital

After breakfast, the camp will be carefully dismantled, leaving no trace behind — only memories. A final gathering with the team, words of thanks, and the presentation of certificates will mark the close of the expedition.

You’ll then travel back to Windhoek, where your journey concludes ahead of your departure the following day.

Day 10

Farewell to Namibia

After breakfast, transfer to Windhoek Airport for your journey home.

A quiet moment to say goodbye — carrying with you the silence of the desert, its endless horizons, and a connection to Africa that will stay long after you leave.
