Day 1

First Impressions

Your journey begins with arrival in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, where your driver will meet you. The drive to Antsirabe offers a first glimpse of the island’s character: terraced rice fields, colorful villages, and women in straw hats carrying baskets of fruit — all coming together to create a vivid sense of place.

Day 2

Journey West

Today you travel across the heart of the island. Along the way, you’ll stop at Lakes Tritriva and Andraikiba, whose waters — according to local legend — are said to grant wishes.

Day 3

Kingdom of Baobabs

The day begins with a journey to Morondava — the land of baobabs. Along the way, you’ll have your first encounter with the legendary Avenue of the Baobabs.

After a dinner of fresh seafood and local spices, you’ll head out on a night walk in Kirindy Forest. With flashlights in hand, you’ll search for mouse lemurs, chameleons, and the elusive fossa — the forest’s most fascinating nocturnal inhabitants.

Day 4

Kirindy Forest

In the morning, set out on a trek through the reserve, with the chance to spot leaping sifakas and the elusive fossa.

Afterwards, continue your journey toward Bekopaka. Along the way, red dirt roads, timeless villages, and the first glimpses of the dramatic limestone spires of the Tsingy unfold before you.

Day 5

Into the Heart of the Stone Forest

An early start takes you into the Great Tsingy de Bemaraha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a surreal labyrinth of sharp limestone pinnacles formed over millions of years. With your guide, you’ll navigate narrow paths and suspended walkways through this otherworldly landscape.

After the hike, enjoy a canoe trip along the Manambolo River, where lemurs can often be spotted leaping through the trees along the banks.

Day 6

Baobabs at Sunset

The journey back to Morondava is rewarded with a stop at the Avenue of the Baobabs during golden hour. As the sun touches the crowns of these ancient giants, they seem to glow from within.

Day 7

Flight to the Eastern Rainforests

Early in the morning, you’ll arrive in Antananarivo, where your journey continues into the island’s lush eastern region of Andasibe. The road winds through rolling hills dotted with tea plantations and past waterfalls cascading down steep cliffs.

Day 8

A Walk with Lemurs

The morning begins with a visit to a private reserve, where you can observe lemurs and chameleons in their natural habitat.

Afterwards, enjoy a canoe ride across tranquil forest lakes, where tree ferns and blooming orchids are reflected in the still, mirror-like water.

Day 9

The World of Chameleons

After a relaxed morning, you’ll make your way back to Antananarivo. Along the route, you’ll stop at Peyrieras Reserve, home to dozens of species of chameleons, geckos, and other fascinating amphibians.

Day 10

Flight to Nosy Be

In the morning, you’ll fly to Nosy Be, a tropical island off Madagascar’s northwest coast. Even before landing, you’ll catch glimpses from above of powder-white beaches, coconut groves, and bays filled with turquoise waters.

Day 11

Ocean Escape

The day unfolds at an easy island pace. Breakfast overlooking the garden, a walk along the coast, time to relax in the shade of the mangroves, or a coconut oil massage at the spa.

You can take it slow or opt for something more active — snorkeling, exploring coral reefs, or venturing out to nearby islands.

Day 12

Return to the Capital

Today you’ll return to Antananarivo. Spend the evening at your own pace — take a walk through the city or enjoy dinner at a restaurant overlooking the lights of the capital.

Day 13

A Day at Leisure in Antananarivo

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You may explore local markets filled with spices, textiles, and hand-carved crafts, browse artisan shops, or simply relax at the hotel before your journey ahead.

If you wish, we can arrange an additional excursion or a dinner with panoramic views over the city.

Day 14

Journey Home

At the scheduled time, transfer to the international airport for your departure.

You may be leaving Madagascar, but it will stay with you — in the scent of vanilla, the sounds of the rainforest, and the warmth of memories that linger long after the journey ends.
