Lemur Island
Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo
Your journey begins in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. From the moment you leave the airport, you’ll feel the rhythm of the island — colorful facades, lively markets, and the scent of spices in the air.
In the afternoon, you’ll head out to explore the city center. Narrow streets, colonial architecture, and sweeping views over the hills of the capital set the scene for your first impressions — and your first photographs.
Day 2
Lemurs & Chameleons
In the morning, you’ll head east toward the tropical rainforests. The journey takes you through rolling hills, red-earth villages, and rice fields. Along the way, you’ll have your first encounters with lemurs — curious, elusive, and often just within arm’s reach before disappearing back into the forest.
Later in the day, visit a reserve home to chameleons, geckos, and rare frogs. A gentle introduction to Madagascar’s unique wildlife, leaving a lasting impression.
Day 3
Rainforests & Island Wildlife
The day begins early with a visit to Andasibe Reserve, home to the largest lemur species — the indri. Together with your guide, you’ll walk through forest trails, observing the rhythms of life in the jungle.
In the afternoon, enjoy a canoe ride among small islands inhabited by the iconic ring-tailed lemurs.
Day 4
Return to the Capital
After breakfast, you’ll make your way back to Antananarivo. Along the route, you’ll pass artisan workshops, spice and coffee stalls, and the serene landscapes of the Central Highlands.
In the capital, you’ll visit the Queen’s Palace, where sweeping panoramic views open out over the city.
Day 5
To the Ocean & the Baobabs
In the morning, you’ll take a short flight to the island’s west coast, to Morondava — the gateway to one of Madagascar’s most iconic sights, the Avenue of the Baobabs.
After checking into your lodge, you can take a walk along the waterfront or visit a local market to soak in the rhythm of coastal life.
Day 6
Avenue of the Baobabs
Spend the morning at your own pace — visit nearby fishing villages, relax at a seaside café, or take a walk along the beach.
Toward evening, you’ll head to the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs. These ancient trees, as tall as five-story buildings, line the road and create an almost surreal landscape. In the golden light of sunset, their silhouettes become especially striking.
Day 7
Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport and flight back to Antananarivo. The rest of the day is yours to explore — perhaps a visit to the local craft market, where you’ll find carved wooden sculptures, woven goods, vibrant textiles, and fragrant spices like vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom.
You’ll leave with more than gifts for loved ones — but a piece of the island itself.
Day 8
To the Islands
Today you’ll travel to the north of the island. In less than an hour, everything changes — the pace, the light, the air. Lagoons, palm trees, and the scent of the ocean create a completely different atmosphere.
Welcome to Nosy Be.
Day 9
Ocean Expedition
Set out by catamaran to one of the archipelago’s most beautiful islands — Nosy Iranja. Its two parts are connected by a narrow strip of white sand, surrounded by a lagoon that glows in brilliant shades of blue.
Under the shade of palm trees, enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood. The rest of the day is yours — for swimming, snorkeling, walking along the reef, or simply unwinding at your own pace.
Days 10–13
Island Escape
The next few days on Nosy Be unfold at an easy island pace. You may choose to explore nearby islands, go snorkeling or diving, visit a turtle reserve, or indulge in a spa experience.
Or simply spend your time by the ocean — reading, listening to the waves, and enjoying the beauty of nature without a rush.
Day 14
Journey Home
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Madagascar is more than just an exotic destination — it’s a rare energy of nature, a sense of connection to a world beyond the everyday, and memories you’ll find yourself returning to again and again.
