Kenya: The Great Migration
Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in one of the city’s best neighborhoods.
Depending on your arrival time, we’ll tailor the day so you can get a feel for the city — take a walk through the center, browse for souvenirs, and enjoy dinner at one of Nairobi’s excellent restaurants.
Your African journey begins.
Day 2
Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, transfer to the local airport for a short flight to Amboseli, known for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and abundant wildlife. In just 40 minutes, you’ll leave the bustle of the city behind and arrive in the heart of the savannah.
After lunch, set out on safari in search of the Big Five, followed by dinner in the open savannah as the day comes to a close.
Day 3
Safari with Views of Kilimanjaro
Amboseli is known for its rich wildlife — large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and cheetahs — as well as its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Today, you’ll enjoy both morning and evening game drives across the park’s landscapes, along with a guided walk led by Maasai guides.
At sunset, sip a cocktail in the savannah, then fall asleep to the sounds of the wild.
Day 4
Lakes of Africa
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a short flight back to Nairobi. From there, continue by road to Lake Nakuru — a scenic drive of around three hours.
Upon arrival, you’ll settle into a cozy safari lodge overlooking the lake and the park’s lush surroundings. Spacious rooms, birdsong, and a gentle breeze create the perfect setting to relax and unwind after the journey.
Day 5
Flamingos at Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake framed by volcanic hills, known for its rich ecosystem and diverse wildlife. Here, you can spot flocks of flamingos and pelicans, as well as buffalo, giraffes, and lions.
The park is especially renowned for its protected population of white rhinos. Today, you’ll explore the area both from the water and on land — with a boat ride on the lake and a game drive led by an experienced guide.
Day 6
Flight to the Maasai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a short flight to the Maasai Mara. During the Great Migration season, the safari begins the moment you arrive.
You’ll stay at a lodge set along the river, featuring spacious tented suites, private terraces, and a spa. The classic interiors evoke the spirit of early African expeditions, while from your tent you can watch animals gathering at the water and listen to the sounds of the savannah at night.
In the afternoon, set out on a game drive with the chance to witness the migration — an experience filled with raw energy and unforgettable moments.
Day 7
Herds of the Savannah
The Maasai Mara is renowned for its exceptional safari experiences and the rich culture of the Maasai people. In September, it becomes the stage for the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest and buffalo can be seen up close.
Beyond game drives, you’ll have the chance to познакомиться with Maasai traditions, enjoy guided walks across the savannah, and spend evenings beneath the stars. For a truly special experience, you can opt for a sunrise hot-air balloon ride or a picnic in the wild.
Day 8
Journey Home
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll fly back to Nairobi and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
Leaving with memories of Africa that will stay with you long after the journey ends.

Kenya: The Great Migration in January 2026
We saw so many lions, hyenas, and cheetahs — and our greatest highlight was a leopard. Even seasoned Africa travelers told us how lucky we were, as spotting a leopard is truly rare.
