Heart of Africa
Day 1
Botswana — Okavango Delta
Arrival in Maun, the gateway to Botswana’s wilderness. From here, a short scenic flight in a light aircraft takes you over the Okavango Delta, landing directly near your lodge. Your home for the next few days is a luxury tent with sweeping views: elephants gather at the waterhole in the morning, and at night the sounds of the savannah fill the air.
In the evening, set out on your first safari in the golden light of sunset, followed by dinner beneath the star-filled African sky.
Day 2
Okavango Delta
The morning begins with a game drive. Your guides follow the tracks of a leopard as giraffes and zebras move across the plains — and, if you’re lucky, you might even spot the rare African wild dogs.
After lunch, you’ll set out on a boat safari through the winding channels of the delta. Elephants drink at the water’s edge just meters away, crocodiles bask on sandy banks, and hippos hide among the papyrus reeds.
In the evening, you’ll pause for sunset drinks — a chilled glass of wine surrounded by the stillness and sounds of the wild.
Day 3
Helicopter Flight over the Okavango
A 30-minute helicopter flight reveals the Okavango from above — emerald islands, winding waterways, herds of buffalo, and elephants crossing the channels below.
In the afternoon, you’ll set out on your final game drive. Perhaps today you’ll witness lions on the hunt or young elephants gathering at the water’s edge.
Day 4
Zambia
Flight to Kasane and settle into a lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River.
On your first evening, enjoy a sunset cruise along the river. As the boat drifts across the Zambezi, you may spot hippos and crocodiles — and hear the distant roar of the waterfall you’ll discover up close tomorrow.
The day ends with dinner beneath the stars. Around the fire, steaks are grilled over open coals, and the evening comes alive with traditional dances from local communities.
Day 5
Victoria Falls
Today you’ll explore Victoria Falls from both sides of the border — Zambia and Zimbabwe. First, walk to the edge of the legendary “Smoke That Thunders,” where water plunges more than 100 meters into the gorge below. Then cross the bridge for a different perspective, where the mist often catches the sunlight, creating brilliant rainbows.
After lunch, you can choose between visiting a local village to learn about traditional life or joining rangers for a rhino tracking experience.
In the evening, relax by the lodge pool with a drink in hand, overlooking the calm waters of the Zambezi River.
Day 6
Helicopter Flight & Waterfall Picnic
After breakfast, you’ll experience Victoria Falls from its most spectacular vantage point during a helicopter flight. From above, you’ll see the Zambezi River plunging into the gorge below and the vast cloud of mist that gives the falls their legendary name — “The Smoke That Thunders.”
After the flight, the helicopter will land on a scenic cliff overlooking the gorge, where a champagne picnic with fresh seafood will be served against the thunderous backdrop of the falls.
